We are delighted to hear the news from Year 11 student, Frankie F, who has recently been selected for Hull FC’s Under 17 Rugby League squad.
Frankie has been playing rugby since the age of 9 having always had a passion for the sport. He has played both Rugby League and Rugby Union for local clubs Skirlaugh Bulls in West Hull and Hull Ionians in Elloughton.
Following a 3-week training schedule with the Centre of Excellence he was selected to join Hull FC’s Under 17 squad. As restrictions began to ease, Frankie started training with the squad in preparation for their first game against Leeds Rhino’s which recently took place at Hull University.
Mr Williman congratulated Frankie, “We are very proud of Frankie’s fantastic sporting achievement. He has demonstrated real dedication and commitment towards his sport, and we look forward to supporting him and his sporting aspirations in the future”.
