We are excited to announce the South Hunsley’s annual Open Evening on Thursday 26 September 2024. To make the event as enjoyable as possible, we have staggered start times by primary school as parking and the school buildings are expected to be busy. However, if the allocated time is inconvenient, it is possible to attend another school’s time.  Furthermore, we have added in an additional Headteacher presentation at 4.45pm in Riding Hall to accommodate families preferring to arrive early. (Please note that tours around school will not start until 5.30pm- after the presentation).

Subject areas and key buildings will be open from 5.30pm until 8.00pm so you can see our excellent facilities, meet staff and speak to our fabulous students. Guides will be available to offer both quick and more detailed tours of the school but it is also possible for families to take a tour unaided if they prefer. Please note that no tours will take place after the final talk has ended.

Below are the allocated presentation times for your child’s primary school:

• 4.45pm – Early bird presentation in Riding Hall (open to all schools)
• 5.30pm – Brough/ North Ferriby/ Hunsley Primary
• 6.30pm – Swanland/ South Cave
• 7.30pm* – Welton/ Elloughton/ North Cave

(*Please arrive by 7.00pm at the latest if you would like to tour the school)

Out of catchment families are welcome to join any session. Please note all presentation sessions are on a first come first served basis.

The main parking area available on the night will be the car park in the bus park which can be accessed via Lowfield Lane (map attached).
