Congratulations to George for competing in this year’s North East Regional Swimming Championships in May, coming home with a Bronze medal in the 50m Butterfly Race.

George spent two weekends in Sunderland at the championships, making it to 4 final races and broke 3 club records which is fantastic. Swimmers have to be in the top 4% performers in the country to qualify for the NER Championships so George has a lot to be proud of.

The next steps for George are a long summer of training ready to compete in the Winter Yorkshire and Regional Championships, as well as the Swim England Pathway Programme later in the year.
