A massive congratulations to Year 11 student Stan for winning the Frank Donoghue Academy Player of the Year from Hull City football club.

Son of former Hull captain Ian, Stan has represented a higher age group than usual this season, representing the Under-18s on a number of occasions. Helping Republic of Ireland Under-17s qualify for the upcoming Euros, Ashbee recently made his Under-21s debut in the Tigers’ 2-0 victory over Cardiff City at the MKM Stadium.

It has been a privilege to see his football career go from strength to strength, we are excited to see where his talents will take him.
