Remembrance Day Service

This term we remembered the sacrifices of members of the armed forces at our Remembrance Day service on Friday 10 November in the Memorial Garden. The school watched on via livestream as the service began with a trumpet rendition of the Last Post before a two-minute silence. Ms Blackledge and a small group of pupils then laid poppies on the Remembrance bench before listening to a read through of John McCrae’s famous poem In Flanders Fields.
