We are celebrating another year of outstanding academic achievement as students receive their results today. The atmosphere has been filled with joy, relief, and pride as our young people reflected on the hard work, determination, and resilience, which has brought them here.
Sixth Form Directors, Mr Jacobs and Mr White, praised the students, saying:
“We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Sixth Form students and their exceptional achievements and individual successes. From prestigious universities to degree apprenticeships and employment, their hard work has opened doors to exciting futures. We wish them continued success and happiness in their future pursuits.”
Among the many success stories this year are:
Matthew M – Studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. Achieved, 4 x A*s and is going on to study Maths at the University of Cambridge .
“The teachers were brilliant, they were very supportive. I owe a lot to them.”
Daisie M – Studied Maths, RS, Politics, Spanish and secured all with A*s and is going on to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at University of Durham.
“In my future plans I really just want to help people, so anything I can do in terms of that would be good. Possibly Politics or Human Rights Lawyer, as long as I’m helping people that’s the main thing. The teachers here are incredibly supportive and believe in you 100%, I couldn’t have done it without them, it is an amazing Sixth Form.”
Grace L – Studied Business, Product Design and BTEC Sport. Earned 2 x As, and 2 x Distinction*, and will be joining a Golf scholarship to study Business Administration in Tennessee, USA.
“I’ve had the best time, met the best friends and great teachers and I will miss it.”
