Key Stage 5 Careers Programme

Our careers education programme has been carefully designed to support the needs and aspirations of every student throughout Key Stage 5.

Pupils will follow a structured and progressive programme of careers learning and experiences. This journey is mapped clearly in our Careers Map, which outlines the activities, guidance and opportunities your child will access during their time with us.

Our programme includes a wide range of experiences designed to help students understand the world of work and make informed decisions about their next steps. These include employer encounters, skills development activities, information about further and higher education, and personalised guidance to support future career choices.

The programme is built around the nationally recognised Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring that our careers education meets high standards and provides meaningful experiences for all students. Through this journey, we aim to help every young person develop the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to become well-prepared and career-ready.

We review and update our careers programme annually to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our students and reflects the changing opportunities available to them.
