RE: Changemakers

South Hunsley School is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion throughout its practice and creating a safe inclusive environment for all students and colleagues. To support the effective development and implementation of the school’s equality, diversity and inclusion strategy, we would like to invite students to join a collaborative working group, named the Changemakers.

The Changemakers will:
• Raise awareness of and provide advice on issues of equality, diversity and inclusion
• Highlight areas for action to representatives of the Senior Leadership Team and the Lead for PSHE
• Support the development of an equality and diversity action plan
• Champion equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the school

The Changemakers reflect a broad cross-section of experiences, backgrounds, knowledge and interests. The group is chaired by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the school Lead for PSHE; who listen to the group and share their feedback to enact positive change within our school community.

If you would like your child to join please encourage them to attend our next scheduled meeting on Tuesday 18 October 2022 in KG11 at 12.30. Students should check their tutor message board for updates.
